Maintenance Technician position available in Barrington on 1st shift! This position is responsible for electrical and mechanical servicing and efficient maintenance of CNC Swiss-Style machinery and equipment. You will also be responsible for the physical plant, utilities and grounds in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
Essential functions of the job include:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures of CNC production machines in a timely manner
- Perform all building maintenance and repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and etc.
- Diagnose, disassemble and determine extent of repairs necessary
- Repair, refit or replace parts
- Works with blueprints and manuals to perform required work
- Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled
- Prepare and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and layouts
- Install new machines and relocate existing machines
- Work in a safe manner and ensure that equipment is in safe working condition
Pay is dependent on experience. Resume is required.
